Another post from Ian Pepper focusing on his collage work.

Anyone who attended the ‘Feast of Beeston’ and ‘Welcome To My World’ exhibitions by Ian Pepper at BasementArtsProject will be familiar with an array of macabre characters such as Frankie Teabags and Edgar Allen Crow, and their distinct personalities.

Pepper works within artistic traditions to explore these themes, trying to create work which is rooted in realism but which is also sprinkled with a sense of mischief and fun.
