Alan Dunn & Martyn Rainford | No4 – Variations – Mutations – Adjustments – No 28 | September 2012

For a number of years Alan Dunn has, amongst a myriad of other projects, been working on a series of CD’s based around particular themes such as Artist’s uses of the word revolution, 433 Soundtrack for the Mersey Tunnel; the artists frequent journeys through the Mersey Tunnel on the number 433 bus, Music For The Williamson Tunnels: The Sound of Dripping Water and many others. 

For No4-Variations-Mutations-Adjustments-No28 Dunn has extended an earlier piece of music entitled ‘In Favour of Chance’, produced in conjunction with collaborator Martyn Rainford for the CD ‘A History of Background’.

The piece presented at BasementArtsProject is a surround sound audio installation designed to be listened to from 12pm by 24 people for 48 minutes
