Nicholas Vaughan

Nicholas Vaughan (b. Northampton) received his degree in Sculpture from Wolverhampton University in 2001, then moved to London where he completed an MA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2002. He is currently based at The Art House; Wakefield.

His work has been shown in exhibitions throughout Europe, including at The Corner House Gallery in Manchester, Imperial College; London as well as Gliwice Museum in Poland. He has been shortlisted for the Clapham Art Prize, Derwent Drawing Prize, and the John Moore Painting Exhibition and has received Arts and Humanities Research Board funding for his MA studies.

Vaughan has completed commissions, including one for the Long Division Festival; Wakefield and has a drawing in the collection of Czytelnia Sztuki at Gliwice Museum.
