Lina Bentley (b. U.K. 1970) is a painter who also makes assemblages. Her area of interest includes the connection with all living things and the historical references we acknowledge, including Greek Mythology. The idea that art was always here as part of the human condition, enables her to use her imaginary ability to reflect and become herself within the commonalities of contemporary culture. The sounds, visions and continuation of her installation, long after leaving the exhibition space are typical of her artist practices.
She studied B.A. Fine Art at the University of Leeds as a mature student with a child. She continues to live and work in West Yorkshire in the creative teaching sector.
